NMTSA SUMMER PROGRAMS

NMTSA DRUM CORP (ages 8-11)

Be part of this unique team experience using African Djembe drums.  Participants will exercise vital social skills including listening, attention, imitation, sustain and inhibition of movement, memory skills and leadership.  No previous experience necessary.

Cost: $150, including a $50 deposit due with your application for the 6 week program.  The remaining amount is due the first day of class.

This program will be led by certified Neurologic Music Therapist.  Individuals with all diagnosis welcome to apply.  Participants will be selected based on the compatibility of their strengths/needs relative to the other applicants in order to create the most therapeutically effective experience possible.  

 

Rock Band 101 (ages 13-21)

Don't miss this amazing opportunity to strengthen social skills while fulfilling your rockstar dreams!  Members will collaborate, communicate, problem solve, lead and follow while working towards the performance of the songs of choice.  No previous instrument experience necessary.
